Did you know what happened in New York City Last October 29,2012? It was a Monday. Thousands of tourist got stranded in New York City for several days due to superstorm Sandy. Flights were cancelled. Tourist attractions and amusement parks were closed.
Fortunately, after the storm came a calm. On Wednesday, tourists began to swarm the Empire State Building to their delight. Some stores reopened. NYC began to stand on its feet and so were the desperate people who got stranded in their houses and hotels. Though transportation became a common problem as the subway station was apparently closed for repairs, still it didn’t stop the tourists from getting the chance to pursue what they came for. Some were disappointed of losing the opportunity to see most of NYC’s sought after attractions. But most of them were very glad that they were spared from harm brought by superstorm Sandy .
Is NYC, as a vacation spot, worth the risk? What would you do if you were one of the tourists?
